The Resort

Ideal for any time of the year. The complex has four excellent pools, Each pool area has its own excellent restaurant or snack and all within a very short distance. Clube Albufeira has four large swimming pools complete with supervised children's pool all within 2 minutes stroll of the apartment. There are four pool side restaurants offering a wide selection of menus from breakfast to dinner in the evening. plus Mini golf course and swings. The Algarve shopping center with hypermarket, cinema, bowling, range of shops and restaurants are only a short distance away as are the beautiful beaches of Albufeira, there is a Free shuttle bus four times a day to the quaint Old Town, but it is still within a reasonable walking distance. Taxis to and from the old town are approx 4 Euros and can be booked at reception. Many world class golf courses are within 20 to 40 minutes drive. Contact reception when you arrive for fee discounts and reserved tee times.

Airport Pickup / Transfers

Airport transfers are not included in the quoted prices, but we can arrange all this for you from and back to Faro airport with a very reliable company who we have used for some time, The prices given below are accurate as at 2011,and are based on the number of people and flight times, If you require a transfer then please select the appropriate box on the reservation form and ensure that we have your flight times.
You may always request transfers at a later date if you do not request them with your reservation
The nearest Airport is Faro [ about 35 minutes away ] and this is well serviced by low cost Airlines as well as the larger ones.

Pickup and return to Faro airport up to & Inc. 4 passengers £35.00 each way
Pickup and return to Faro airport 5 - 8 passengers £48.00 each way

Baby chairs and or booster seats are supplied free of charge however there is an out of hours surcharge of £10.00
on these prices each way if the collection time falls between the hours of 19h00hrs - 06h30

[Example arrival 0700 from the airport to our apartment for 4 passengers £35.00, return pickup from the apartment for 4 passengers to Faro airport 20.45 would be £35.00 plus the £10.00 out of hours charge giving a total of £45.00 thus the two trips would come to a total charge of £80.00]

Low Cost Car Hire

We suggest that a good alternative to airport transfers is often local car hire it can sometimes even be cheaper than an Airport Transfer. We recommend this company as we have used them and they have been found to be reliable and keenly priced.

We are pleased to offer you a welcome pack for when you arrive, this pack consists of :-

The charge for this pack is 16.00 Euros or £15.00 in addition to the rental charge

The Area

With its prime vantage point atop multi-hued cliffs in Portugal's southern Algarve region, it's easy to imagine Albufeira's eighth century Arab occupants calling the city "Castle of the Sea." Brightly painted fishing boats, stunningly white houses with Moorish flair and remnants of its old fortress provide echoes of earlier days, while lively nightlife accentuates its modern resort charms. Spend time sunbathing on the more than 20 diverse beaches that hug the coast or venture inland, where almond trees blossom and local handicrafts are abundant.

Alongside Aqualand Waterpark, there are two more big family holiday attractions near Albufeira - Zoomarine and Krazy World! Albufeira makes the perfect base for family holidays, where stunning family beaches combine with a fab choice of family holiday attractions. There is so much to do in and around Albufeira that you holiday will not seem long enough, Use the search words "albufeira attractions" in Google or your favorite search engine you will be amazed at what's on offer Summer & Winter.

I can highly recommend clube albufiera resort. There is plenty to do with three swimming pools and is far enough back from the resort centre to be peaceful yet close enough to be easily accessible. Overall an excellent holiday!!

The whole family enjoyed our week in Portugal immensely and this was in no small measure due to the package you provide. The apartment itself had everything we could possibly want, the air con is suberb. The swimming pools, restaurants, gardens and facilities on the resort were excellent and the use of the camp site facilities across the road provided anything that the Clube Albufeira resort didn’t. Albufeira and local beaches are within easy reach and public transport links were excellent so even without a car getting around was easy.
The masterlock is an excellent idea as it saves the hassle of checking in at reception upon arrival but this is also where I have one small criticism. We arrived at around midnight so it was very dark around the entrance to the apartment and we had difficulty seeing the numbers on the combination lock. It would have helped if the outside light had been left on to assist in this regard. It speaks volumes that this is the only negative thing I have to say about the entire week and this is really a very small point.
We flew with Ryanair and, as you probably know, they have quite meagre baggage weight limits so your provision of beach towels was a huge benefit to us in this regard. In researching villas and apartments for our holiday most owners provide bathroom towels but you are very much in a minority in providing beach towels and although a small point it did make us look favourably at your property. Another thing we found quite rare with your package was that airport transfers are included in your price and your arrangements were suberb. We have known this to be a stressful area in the past but your guy was waiting for us as soon as we came through arrivals with my name on a board, he took us directly to your apartment, waited to make sure we were safely inside and was exactly on time for the transfer back.
In conclusion, our holiday was hugely enjoyable and booking with you has made our first experience of the Algarve a memorable one and one we will no doubt repeat. I would have no hesitation in recommending your apartment to anyone.

I'd just like to say thank you so much for providing us with a fantastic apartment to enjoy our holiday. We had a lovely time and will certainly recommend it to all our friends and family.
The welcome pack was great and well timed and the location was great, the pools were just what we wanted, the travel cots arrived just in time for the afternoon naps and the company also provided us with a few extras too, which was handy.
The restaurants were ideal, the steak on a rock was amazing, the towels were a nice touch, the transfers were perfect, we'll definitely be back.
